Republican Roxann L. Robinson crushed Democrat William P. "Bill" Brown yesterday in the special election in Chesterfield County's 27th House of Delegates District.

Robinson won 1,008 votes. Sherman Litton gained 219 votes, Brian Sullivan, 210, and Jason King, a latecomer who was affiliated with the tea-party movement, received 105 votes.
